Summary: I Am the True Vine, The Hatred of the World

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. ~ John 15:18-19

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. ~ John 15:16

The disciples were chosen by Jesus. As he called them, he said, “Follow me.”. Friends, don’t ignore the tug of Jesus calling you. It is His mission to save the lost, so listen, follow, and know that He has come to save you. It is He who came to give you eternal life. He has written the Bible to you, yes He did. Go to the bible and read His message. When you mention Jesus to an angry world, you will see that this is not a game. Jesus is calling us to be with him. You now have the opportunity to know Him and let Him secure your eternal life. Please do not throw it away. ~ David Campbell
